International Quality Recognized: Six IUS Programs Earn ASIIN Accreditation
The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) has achieved another significant milestone in its continued commitment to academic excellence and internationally recognized quality standards. Six study programs offered by the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) have been awarded ASIIN accreditation for a five-year period, effective from June 2026 until September 2031.
The accredited programs are organized into three clusters. Cluster A includes Computer Sciences and Engineering, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Cluster C comprises Genetics and Bioengineering, while Cluster D covers Architecture.
The accreditation process for Cluster B, comprising Mechanical Engineering, is still ongoing. The ASIIN site visit has been completed, and the University is currently awaiting the final decision which would complete the ASIIN accreditation process for all FENS study programs.
All finalized accreditation decisions and certificates are listed in the Database of External Quality Assurance Results – DEQAR, ensuring transparency and public access to the outcomes of the external quality assurance process.

IUS also hosted ASIIN site visits earlier in 2026, further demonstrating the University’s commitment to transparency, accountability and continuous development.
